  1. Observe the waves breaking on the shore. Each wave takes you deeper into rest and relaxation.
  1. Feel the sea breeze as it gently touches your skin.
  1. Smell the saltiness in the air.
  1. See or imagine the trees and other vegetation surrounding the beach. If there were flowers there, they can be any color you want them to be.
  1. Visualize the sky, which might be clear and blue, or hazy and cloudy.
  1. After several minutes, or however long you choose the vacation to be, slowly open your eyes and return feeling rested and relaxed.

Notes: The mind vacation described above is only an example. You can customize it in any way to suit your desires.

You can change you choice of destination whenever you wish and then easily fill in the scene in your mind.
